I`m a home recording dabbler about 5 years now. My first music recording software was Audicy. Afterwards, I find Mixcraft. On this time, it was good and light multitrack recording software that allows to record audio tracks ( no midi or video included at all in Mixcraft 3 version). Mixcraft enables me to make my earliest recordings on a better level.

While I was need an ability to make midi tracks too, I was looking at forward and find the next solution in the form of Cakewalk Sonar Home Studio. More complicated, more powerful, more to learn before you can use the software – great, by and large.

Cakewalk got a way to go for me. Honestly, I`m satisfied generally and using Sonar X1 Producer today – it’s real gun and at the same time so complicated. You can`t never learn to use huge amount functions this software enables to attract.
